which means that in 24 hours I should be sitting in an aircraft on its 
way to Chicago.  Cat at the cattery, boarding pass printed, driving 
licence record printed out (in case they ask for it at the car rental 
place) USA SIM card activated.  I believe the number is 1-312-480-8128 
but I can't use it until I land in Chicago and turn that phone on.  Now 
all I have to worry about are what I've forgotten and whether there will 
be traffic problems on my way to Heathrow.

Looking forward to lunch with Meg on Wednesday, meeting with Judy 
Fleener a couple of days before I fly back and anybody else who is 
anywhere near my route which is basically heading to Denver, then turn 
North nearly to the border, East and then down through Michigan.  Time 
to check if there are any updates for my GPS and make sure I have all 
the charging devices and connecting leads I need.
