[Magdalen] Peepers

Yesterday, the weather was in the seventies, and the peepers were so loud
that my wife could enjoy them, her hearing deficit notwithstanding.

I knew they were out and about since on one rainy night I came home to find
two of them climbing around on my front door. We have a couple vernal ponds
in back of our property, and they always come visiting in the spring. Not
sure what they seek. I suppose it involves travel in hopes of making more
peepers.
