‘Vote early, vote often’ is a feature of Irish elections also. And there is (or was) a further elaboration of that feature. In the 1960s the then Taoiseach (Irish Prime Minister) declared that he didn’t mind the dead voting in elections, but he drew the line at a dead person voting twice.
