And we've got St. Luke's ELCA, Belmont Avenue, where darned if that
isn't a celebrant, deacon, and subdeacon up there on Sundays, at least
vestment-wise (they call them Presiding Minister, Assisting Minister,
and Lay Liturgist, or something like that). This is where, when I
visited, a few people I met told me in hushed tones that they
sometimes visit our parish for Evensong & Benediction. <gasp!> I
assured them I wouldn't divulge their secret. :)

I'm sorry I never visited St. Luke's for their weekly 9 a.m. service
in German. Now they no longer do that.
