If you want truly excellent choral performance by female voices, this is a
must-have:

It's a collection of folksong settings of classic German tradition (some of
which you will recognize as hymns ["We plow the fields and scatter"]). This
is a small chorus of women's voices and it is simply superb in all
respects. There's nothing I can point to which is a drawback.

The setting of "Wachet Auf!" by contemporary composer Gunther Martin
Goettsche is almost worth the price of the CD in itself. When I first
heard it, I just had to stop what I was doing. So wonderfully done.
