[Magdalen] Small financial prayer request.

Knowing full well I'm not experiencing anything like the financial woes of some of our brethren and sistren here, (and for them my prayers continue), I nonetheless ask a wee prayer or two regarding my finances.

I'm finding it harder and harder to make ends meet, and said ends prior to now only did just meet.  And this, after considerable reconfiguring of certain things (internet, phone, cable, etc, to my benefit).  I do have more debt, true, but it's 99% interest-free, so that's not the problem.  I honestly attribute it to a growing cost of living that forever leaves us County general unit workers behind, even with the occasional cost of living increase.  (1.5% - taxes doesn't really feel like much.)  And specifically, the cost of food.  I'm constantly wagging my head in disbelief when the total comes up, and that's after many minutes of retracing my steps to put things back and pick up others less costly.  It's entirely possible we're eating too much.  A week of ramen would save us a lot of money.

I keep telling Everett things will settle out soon, and we'll be relatively back to normal.  Praying that's so.  Thanks for listening.
