My parish has just welcomed a refugee family from the Congo - it has been
an amazing two weeks of crazy work and blessed new relationships.  This is
a family of 9 - mom and dad fled the Congo in 1996 and all 7 sons (yes, all
boys) were born in a refugee camp in Rwanda.  They didn't know running
water, or how to use a doorknob.  Almost no English when they arrived (two
oldest sons had a few words).

We are trying to get a free "handyman for a day" donated to help us with
some of the things we need to do to make the space we have rented workable
for this large family, as well as have the handyman show some basic skills
to a few members of the family.  But we need VOTES on their facebook page
for St Thomas Church.  If you would go to
