I was cantor for the Mass when a RC priest came out to the  pulpit
at the time of the sermon and said:  "When you have a lector who
reads the wrong lessons for the day, what is a preacher to do?"
 
He then read the "right" lesson, but left the poor lector half dead
from embarrassment in the front pew.
