I can understand the need for a judge to officially declare his demise 
because of his statis as a Supreme Court Justice.  We certainly don't 
wnat to allow room for any credible suggestion of foul play in his 
death.  I would assume that Judge Guevera questioned the Sheriff about 
the circumstances of the death, the report of the MD who certified life 
was extinct and any relecant medical history. Absent any suspicious 
circumstances then allowing the body to be released for burial would 
seem reasonable.
