I cringe to think of what a recording of me singing the RVW Five
Mystical Songs at our former parish's 50th anniversary concert would
sound like. I guess I did an OK job (along with the choir and small
chamber orchestra), but I really wouldn't want to hear it again. I'm
no Sir Thomas Allen.

And I really didn't get a lot of direct feedback one way or the
other...a few compliments, and one hearty "Scott, I didn't know you
had it in you!" but a couple people I expected would have something to
say about it chose not to. I shouldn't project, but perhaps where they
sat, I didn't come through too impressively. Or it was horrible! <sob>

It fulfilled a dream for me, though. I was very glad to have the opportunity.
