We had rain all day, an afternoon thunderstorm, then clearing. Very
strange weather for February.>>>>>

The rain here in Pennsylvania has changed over to steady downpours
with prolonged deluge waves punctuated by the most intense lightning
and thunder for the past year. There was even a little hail. The
electricity
went out four times for maybe a minute each time. The desktop computers
did not like it at all, and I probably should have disconnected them. The
dogs also have had a real time of it. Temperatures have briefly been
up to 60 F (15 C). Certainly we've had several inches of rain.

There's another band out in Western Pennsylvania, too, though it doesn't
look as impressive on radar at this point. Also severe storms out in the
Western PA region have a way of breaking up in the mountains before
getting here.

If the second storm holds together, it will be here about 4 AM.
