[Magdalen] Dental issues..

I am fortunate that I have not had any horribly bad dental experiences.
I think the two things weighing on me are:

1) Eating and drinking today - I suspect that it may become the closest
thing to a fast day… drinking posed no problems. I suspect I may try to
avoid food for the remainder of the day. Though there are a couple of
options in the house that I expect would be ok to eat without disturbing
anything in that part of my mouth.

2) Not liking the feelings of helplessness when they are working in my
mouth (nor the feeling of numbness I have felt when past dentists
worked), with maybe a side of guilt around the state of my teeth.

The one benefit of the appointment being tomorrow is that there is no
sense "waiting" for it today. Today is just about surviving and tomorrow
can wait for tomorrow.
