Too bad about the four young men in their mid-twenties who apparently
had too much to drink and decided to go for a canoe adventure in the
middle of the night on a lake in Southern Wisconsin this week.   All
died when their canoe capsized in the frigid waters which were  partially
iced over.
 
Water adventures at night are a bad idea at any time of the year, and
especially so when liquored up.  A guardian angle must have saved  me
on several such occasions.
