Sigh...my kids don't do washing up routinely either. They do more or less
know how to stack the dishwasher and Evan, lately, has shown interest in
cooking more than the occasional egg or instant noodles.

But I comfort myself that I, too, was hopeless in the kitchen and knew
nothing of housework when I went to university aged 18. And eventually I
did learn, though not with any great enthusiasm!!
