[Magdalen] Curse on Masons

OES is active among black churches in the South, but younger women -- 
older, tho' than their deb counterparts in white gowns with whom their 
photos are often juxtapositioned in the society pages.

The (white) St. James lodge still meets, for what it's worth, in the 
Masonic Building around the corner from St. James Episcopal Church, 
Baton Rouge, each Thursday evening. I know because they're coming into 
our parking lot about the time I'm leaving the office. They seem to be 
good carpoolers, with the one who still drives at night, having picked 
up his friends.
