[Magdalen] TEC suspended from Anglican Communion

... and Justin is probably not going to call a Lambeth Conference either
(noise about this for almost a year now), may already be a no-go (I'm not
sure).

So Grace, your comments about the nature of the meetings make me feel ever
more strongly that a great desire for listening is at hand, and many
moderate voices in the communion have not felt listened to. TEC does not
have a corner of not being listened to either, IMO. I believe that the
voices of divisiveness and bible thumping, although they might be the
nosiest in the room, will not be any more constructive or instructive than
they have been on this side of the pond. In the end only love really
survives. I believe that 3 years will provide a time for real space and
discernment and I have great hope.

Is the AC just an anachronistic side bar to post Protestant Revolution
legitimacy against the 'one true church' , both being firmly rooted in first
century Rome? I think that it is much more than that and would like to see
it reconciled and healed. I believe it can exist in a dance of agreeing to
disagree. Only time will tell.

Lynn

single bit of talent left and could say, "I used everything You gave me."
