[Magdalen] Eastern USA weather

We have a pot of chili bubbling away, the thought being that we can heat it
on the grill if necessary. I do wish we had the cooking extension that is
being developed for our gravity-fed pellet stove, but at  least we'll have
heat. Light, too, as we have batteries in all our lanterns.
