It will take the rest of the weekend for my shell-shocked dogs
to recover from a 90 minutes barrage of fireworks set off over the
lake about a half a mile away last night.
 
For me, THE fireworks are those along the East River, New York City,
sponsored by Macy's.  I think they are tomorrow evening on NBC.
