I try never to sneer at accents.  Accents are too interesting to take  that
approach.  We can laugh about accents, and this is especially true  if
it is our own accent.  That's the prime reason that Upper  Midwesterners
find that dark comedy, "Fargo," so funny.  It's an overblown parody  of
