[Magdalen] Shingles

When I was an AIDS volunteer, one of our dear friends had died just as I 
was diagnosed with a very mild case of shingles and was advised to stay 
away from people with compromised immune systems. I went to the funeral 
but stayed well away from the others -- until they came over and 
embraced me and wouldn't hear of me staying apart.  Their memory is eternal.
