[Magdalen] test

I'm sitting here staying out of my dear partner's way as he works on a
fancy birthday cake for a friend of a friend, for the second day. The
cake is then to be transported to an outdoor event in 90-degree heat.
Whatever. A lovely Friday night indoors (for the air conditioning) and
without wine (as there's a church meeting in the morning and I don't
want to have a hard time getting up for it).

Feeling deprived. I'll get over it. Wah. Whine. Whinge.
