[Magdalen] Not easy being green

This afternoon, I felt a slight tingle in my eyes. Within 1/2 hour, I was
looking like Kermit. This is the 3rd time in about 7 months this has
happened and nothing in common. I still have some drops I got at the ER the
first go last November (a Saturday night late). 2nd time was in February -
again on a weekend. They prescribed Prednisone both times.
I went in to a local doctor with walk-ins. (He was formerly my doctor at
the local VA outpatient clinic, - he left that clinic to start his own
practice associated with the local hospital. I've known him a long time.
Our local VA is not what it used to be - though in all fairness, if you get
over to Fayetteville (AR) or Little ROck, those are excellent.
After the second hit of this thing, I asked the doctor at the VA clinic
about allergy testing. His response was to do it with a blood test.
Today's doc again gave me a scrip for Prednisone and then asked me if I
wanted to see an allergist. I had testing done at Walter Reed almost 40
years ago. There's probably been some changes.
