According to our local TV station, Trump did indeed take the Republican
vote in Rockingham and Augusta Counties. However, on the Democratic side,
Sanders won handily in both counties. I'm not surprised that Bernie did
well in Rockingham County, which is, after all the home of JMU (and Eastern
Mennonite University, where he might also have considerable appeal) but I
was a little surprised that he did so well in Augusta County.
