[Magdalen] Medical update (& honestly, getting' a little scary).

Back in 1961 our subdivision house had an electric countertop and a wall 
oven -- and avocado dishwasher.  Le dernier cri!  Next home in 1967 was 
an electric range and so it has continued almost to this day, except now 
since last fall I rejoice in a gas range. Happy camper here.

I recall from those early days Flanders & Swann's song 'Design for 
Living'  that said of the trendy wall oven, "This means that without my 
having to bend down the hot fat can squirt straight into my eye."
