AFAIK, it's pretty much the same everywhere in the US. You contact the 
appropriate office (Town Clerk, County Clerk, Board of Elections, whatever) 
and ask for an absentee ballot. They'll need to have it back by Election Day 
in November.

american living in Canada. I am presently registered in Virginia since I
