[Magdalen] Two things I love about Election Eve 2016...

I still remember my mother holding me up to watch her pull the levers on
the voting machine. She asked me to put my hand on her hand while she did
so.

Voting is one of those experiences (singing hymns is another, also making
bread or baked beans) where she is still present to me.
