I wanted to be in the city proper the church I am at now is a 10 minute drive away. I don't like winter driving... I am just not sure if they can wait for me until I finish the other church job if they would like to get me onboard. I love the Catholic liturgy I quite enjoyed my year in a Catholic parish... I think I am going to contact priest on Monday...

>>My third cousin. John Brebeuf Joseph LaViolette, was a surveyor who worked on 401 as it was being constructed. I'd say I drove 401 from the time the first sections were opened until around the mid 80's at least every few years. I never remember having any trouble; but never visited Canada in winter. The only trouble I recall from 401 is driving in Newfoundland in the early 70's; but the by the time I made a second visit to St Pierre and Miquelon even the road from 401 to Fortune was paved. Barring the immediate blizzard how difficult is it to drive 401? In Georgia they don't recommend driving in ice storms and the church parking lots are closed by order of at least an Archdeacon or Vicar General.
