My former parish in Saint Paul, MN closed its doors after
Easter Sunday last.  There is a big "For Sale" sign at the
main entrance off one of the city's grand old busy boulevards,
and there are pictures of the structure interior in eerie 
emptiness online.  It's all beyond sad, and this has not been
my parish for 50 years.  I can imagine what contemporary
members must be feeling.
 
A thought is about what they do with a columbarium imbedded 
into a wall in the sanctuary of the church building.  I would
hope that DioceseMN would be removing this and placing it
in some other ecclesiastical setting.
