[Magdalen] Closing a church?

A parish nearby closed without benefit of clergy.  And with parishioners
taking items and selling others.  This drove the Diocesan Staff and the
Standing Committee of which I was a member bonkers.  They completely
ignored the fact that tthe whole kaboodle belongs to the diocese.
