I love the solo clarinet, and Benny Goodman in particular.  I was a  guest
at graduation in the Harvard Yard when Goodman marched in to get  his
honorary doctorate from Harvard.  It was a thrill.
 
By coincidence, I recently played my disc with Goodman doing the
Copland Clarinet Concerto - really sublime.
