And I so admire you for this, Marion.

Loads of people hated Ted Kennedy, but I adored him. When he realized he'd
never be President, he vowed to be the very best and most effective Senator
he could be. And he had a much more profound (and lasting) influence on the
country than he ever could have had as President.
