Of course NE PA has Orthodox and matching Byzantine Rite ("Greek
Catholic") of every ethnic stripe and type. In the little burg (22,000)
just over the mountain, there are, for instance 3 Byzantine Rite parish
churches and a couple of Orthodox churches. The little suburb
(3,500) at the top of said mountain has another parish church of
the Byzantine Rite and another Orthodox church.

I enjoy the Byzantine Rite Liturgy more because though they have
cantors singing the service, all are welcome, as able, to join in, and
the music is in books in the pew racks. The Orthodox OTOH, have
choirs, and it is not possible to sing in the nave. In this manner they
are like the Tridentines where schola and choir do the whole deal.
