Thanks for the info. My mom always resisted hearing aids because of the 
price and she knew so many other women her age or older who did also (who 
irritated her by continually asking people to repeat themselves, or feeling 
like others were being secretive only because they couldn't hear what was 
being said/going on).

I know it's expensive but I can't imagine not hearing, if/when the time 
comes.

Lynn, who is going to take the plunge soon  and order my glasses online - 
frames and lenses - it's a 50% or more savings for my fairly high end 
frames. The one's I've got now have lasted a very long time.
