I will be getting rid of my landline soon.
Returned from two-plus months away to 61 phone messages.
Not ONE of them was actually for me.
Rachel from card services called many times,
also the people who want me to switch electric companies.
And all those cruises I won, and free trips to Orlando.
I stood in the kitchen, listened, deleted.
