I missed the part where Lynn gave me permission to share her communication
with the pub.

So, in her own words:

Jim and I are still in Michigan with touch and go internet. Working on 3rd
set of return reservations for Thursday night. Hope they hold.

Nate's house narrowly escaped flooding on ground level, it was literally a
foot away in front and backyard (which has a "creek" behind their back
fence).

Jane is high and dry downtown a bit east of all the devastating photos of
flooded interstate interchanges going into city of Houston - she is in a
second floor flat over a storage garage and her only upstairs neighbor is
also at home so the two of them are eating together and keeping each other
sane.

The photos, many of places near to me are devastating- my condo and whole
small community has not had any rising water damage TBTG, considering the
incredible flooding east, west and south of us.

love, Lynn

Feel free to share in the pub.
