I'm not really sure about many years ago 30+ in regard to singing or hearing
'Christmas Carols' during Advent, but after becoming more involved with the
life and liturgy of TEC upon moving to Texas I was willingly indoctrinated
to the concept that Christmas is CHRISTMAS (late night Dec 24 - Epiphany).
I get a large charge out of the largest Christian Radio Station (KSBJ) based
in suburban Houston (with about 5 towers far and wide because of their
audience reach) who have a tradition of playing Christmas songs/carols and
only Christmas songs and carols beginning on Thanksgiving day and then
stopping on Christmas day.
