I don’t usually make specific requests like this, but I received this from my daughter-in-law, and it’s very exciting on a number of fronts.
Sarah is my third-oldest granddaughter—turned 20 in June—and already has an amazing work record, beginning at 16, all of it at a state park, starting in housekeeping, and now being an interpreter. Some of you know of my struggles over the years with my son’s views regarding women, college and theology and his rigid approach to all of those. But the girls are all finding their own way—the oldest even has an AA degree—and they’ve all had good jobs since they were 16.
Anyway, I’m really excited that she has this opportunity. Either way, as Mary Kim said, she can’t lose, because the folks at the park where she’s working now love her and will happily keep her on.

She is aware of most of her "competition", mostly twenty something females, most she knows. Sarah has a lot of park experience considering her age. Can you please pray for her?
