A blessed Christmas to you all, dear friends. More snow fell overnight
in Port Hope and lies prettily and thickly on trees and bushes and all
flat surfaces. Lots of shovelling. Another service this morning, and
later today I'll head in to my daughter's where there will be a serious
gathering of family, my children, grown grandkids, my ex-ex, his ex-
(that should be interesting) and their son and his partner, and so on.
Most of us are staying overnight which should be pretty jolly. I'm
hoping jolly enough to help me move on from the melancholy I'm feeling
these days.
