Well, not about your feeling the effects of your chemo, of course...
When my son was about ten months old, he had a terrible cough, and it was so bad one night that I called or pediatrician, who told me to bring the baby to the phone. He listened and then said it was croup, and that I should take him the bathroom and run a hot shower for the steam.
Then he said I could make a mixture of equal parts honey, lemon juice and bourbon. Disbelieving what I'd heard, I said, "bourbon???"
"Or," the doctor replied drily, "you could drink the bourbon!"
