Although immigrants from the Middle East are buying out old established
businesses.

The other day I picked up a pizza here. The place is called Tony's. The
owner's name is Youssef. His family has bought the entire strip mall. His
mother has a little antiques & furniture shop. His wife and daughter run a
bathing suit & beachwear shop. He has "what the Koran says about Jesus"
posters on the wall. Yet the construction workers who were picking up their
lunches all called him "Mr. Tony." It's a southern thing, I guess.
