Those were the final days when RC's actually followed the Liturgy
in a missal, which was initially Latin-English, but by the late  1960's
was all English.
 
Now the RC's I see don't bother with written texts (sadly, often not
even the English hymn texts, too).
 
This is in start contrast to worshippers in TEC who are sometimes
overly glued to printed texts.
