I was sad to read that Pepper died. I think it had been quite a long time since he was a regular participant in the pub, but I remember him well from the early days, and from meeting him at least once. Like Christopher, I assume it must have been in Minneapolis. A sweet man. I lit a candle for him this morning at the Philadelphia Cathedral. May the angels lead him into paradise.
