[Magdalen] how long have I been hanging around with you folks

It's a very long time since I've posted here -- "hello, everyone".

But I joined this group of people back in 1993, on anglican at american.edu,
as it was then.

In my email archives I still have the very first email I received from the
list, dated 7 July 1993 at 15:32, from John Goodwin.

That actually was a life-changing, or certainly life-defining, email for
me, as it was about a project John was co-ordinating to put the US BCP
online by retyping all its content. It encouraged me to think that the
CofE's liturgy might possibly be put online too -- and I guess that if
there is one thing I have done over the last 24 years it's to help put the
CofE's liturgy online, something I'm still doing, now as a member of the
Church's Liturgical Commission with a brief to help devise the next wave
of online liturgical resources.
