When I asked the Pastor of Saint Paul, MN's big Presbyterian Church,
House of Hope, on one occasion, how it was that his church was doing
so many Requiem Masses by the great composers (I had just heard their
wonderful rendition of the Mozart) when praying for the dead was not
exactly Presbyterian theology.  His answer was that they had decided  to
sing any good choral music from any tradition as long as that music
met their high musical standards.
