There also seems to be a general and perhaps longstanding lack of knowledge
about the president's constitutional role in relation to the other branches
and the executive departments. The attitude of many toward the president is
that Trump can "go in and kick a**" as though that's part of his job, and
somehow fix a lot of vaguely defined things blamed on Obama.

And what's needed to remedy this is a more widespread understanding of
basic civics. Along with a president with a deep understanding of same and
a belief in the constitution's provisions.
