[Magdalen] What are we reading?

Can't read on my back.
Can't read on my side either. In fact, when I tilt my head, the focal plane
is distorted.
Can't read on my stomach (page is too close).
Hoping reading glasses will help.

Had a friend who was a committed crafter who convinced the eyeglass guy to
make her a pair of bifocals with the reading correction filling three
quarters of the lens and just a narrow strip of distance correction at the
top. Turns out this wasn't legal in Massachusetts. She managed it
eventually, but it took awhile.
