 Oh dear. I definitely will not try THAT any more. I don't know what that mess was, but it is NOT what I have ever seen in a digest. Sorry to inflict that on the list. I'm using my computer this time.

>From Brian's comment, I am wondering if I am the only one still using the digest? If so, and it is that much of a problem for him or other, I guess I will try switching to the individual message mode and see if it's manageable. Maybe I can figure out how to do that folder thing, short of adding a gmail account. For my part, the digest isn't especially clunky, perhaps because I am more of a reader than a responder, and it's very quick to read the digests.
