[Magdalen] Family Prayers

Prayers, please, for my Aunt Kit. She has polymylgia rhemitica, but because
of months and months of heavy Prednisone, her immune system has been
compromised to the point where she is not allowed to visit her daughter
Brienne in the hospital.

And speaking of my cousin Brienne, please offer your prayers up for her as
well. She has a mitochondrial disease of some sort (it's a very rare
condition, with no treatment), and when it flares up, it is disastrous to
her developmentally and physically. When she was originally diagnosed at
the age of 7, she was not expected to live past the age of 9; she is now 35
years old. Right now she is in the ICU with a persistent fever of 102, a
breathing tube, and a ventilator, and has been like this since a week ago
last Thursday.

I'm very worried about both of them. My aunt seemed in good spirits when I
spoke with her just now, but I know she's very upset and suffering from
depression.
