We had a pancake supper last night, which was especially nice because they
had a special pancake preparation for the kids. The pancakes were ready,
with all sorts of decadent stuff for the kids to put on however they wanted
to. My spouse and I were having a great time watching the kids exercising
their newfound culinary skills. The pancakes and sausages were also good.
We also had a little intro for Lenten Madness. I thought it would be a
little extra fun for the parishioners of all ages, and it seems to have
been well received. The BRACKET is on display right inside the front door
of the parish house.
Some of the match-ups are quite remarkable, such as Fanny Crosby versus
George Frideric Handel. I bet the female vote will carry Fanny through her
first round.
