No wisdom, but some experience.
I was a juror on a medical malpractice case re: a frozen shoulder.
At that time (and probably still) the manipulation-with-anesthesia
was a crapshoot. In his case it failed (the plaintiff, a depressed
alcoholic,
couldn't bear the pain of the follow-up rehabilitation).
